Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information SurveyDeliver (surveydeliver.io), a service of 3DroneMapping Pty Ltd (registration no. 2014/256136/07, VAT no. 4170271680), Portion 23, Baviaanskloof R407, Prince Albert, Western Cape, 6930, South Africa, collects and how it is used. We are the responsible party for account and site information. For the files operators upload, the operator decides what is shared and we process it on their behalf.
What we collect
- Account details: your company name, the email you sign in with, and any contact details you add (shown on your client pages if you choose).
- Your uploads: the survey files you upload and the details you enter for each delivery.
- Notes on a delivery's map: when someone pins a note to a delivery's map, we store the note, the name they typed and where on the map it is, with that delivery. The operator can remove notes, and they are deleted with the delivery.
- Visits and sign-ins: when client pages and consoles are opened, we record the page, time, approximate location (country and city), device type, the address of the site that linked there, and the IP address. IP addresses are kept for 30 days.
- Payments: handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We receive your subscription status and the email and country Paddle holds, never your card details.
Cookies
We use only necessary cookies: one that keeps you signed in to your console, and one that counts a visit once per 30 minutes rather than on every page. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How we use it
To provide the service (storing, converting and showing deliveries), to sign you in, to bill you, to keep the service secure (for example, blocking repeated wrong passwords), to show operators how their deliveries are used, and to contact you about your account. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare: hosting, storage, database and email delivery.
- Hetzner (Finland): file conversion and daily backups.
- Paddle: payments, invoices and tax.
These providers may store information outside your country, under safeguards required by law.
How long we keep it
Account information and uploads are kept while your account is active and removed after it ends, following the notice described in our terms. Backups roll over within 30 days. Visit records keep IP addresses for 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how it is used, by emailing support@surveydeliver.io. We follow South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and, where it applies, the EU/UK GDPR. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa or your local authority.
